What's the difference between Co-pilot and AI Max?
Co-pilot (in both Starter and AI Sales Max) = AI suggests, you approve every send. Best for high-stakes conversations where every word matters. AI Max (AI Sales Max only) = AI sends low-risk replies instantly, but auto-queues anything pricing, payment, or refund-related for your approval. Best for high-volume operators. Both share the same AI brain — the difference is just who hits send on routine messages.
Why is AI Max only on AI Sales Max?
AI Max is a higher-trust feature — it sends messages without your approval (for low-risk only). We only enable it on AI Sales Max because that plan includes the safety net: sensitivity classifier, per-chat overrides, quiet hours, and the approval queue for anything risky. Plus 10× the token budget so the AI can actually run continuously.
Do I need a separate WhatsApp number?
No. Both modes run on your existing WhatsApp. Scan the QR code once and Clapsley begins reading your chats and learning your messaging tonality — using your own number, your own customer list, your own message history.
Will my customers know AI is involved?
No. Drafts come back in your messaging tonality — your typical length, emoji habits, language mix, sign-off style. It reads like talking to you, not like talking to a robot. In Co-pilot mode, every message waits for your approval anyway. In Auto-mode, only routine messages auto-send (and they're indistinguishable from a quick reply you'd type yourself).
Does the AI clone my voice or impersonate me?
No — and this is important. The AI does not clone your voice or generate fake audio. It learns your messaging tonality — the way you write text replies. Your typical message length, emoji habits, language mix, sign-off style. The AI never speaks for you, only writes drafts in your text style.
What happens after the 14-day free trial?
The AI auto-suspends. No surprise charges. If you do nothing, billing simply doesn't start. If you decide to continue, pick a plan inside the dashboard. Your AI's tonality profile and Skills library are preserved for 30 days in case you change your mind.
Can I switch between modes?
Yes — AI Sales Max lets you toggle between Co-pilot and AI Max per-account or per-chat. Most operators start with Co-pilot to build trust, then flip individual chats to AI Max as they get comfortable. Starter plan is Co-pilot only — upgrade anytime to unlock AI Max.
Is my data safe? Who trains the AI?
Your data is encrypted at rest on a Singapore-based server, never resold, never used to train any model except your own private one. The AI's tonality profile and Skills library are unique to your account. You can export everything or delete it permanently at any time from settings.
What's an AI token? Will I run out?
An AI token roughly equals one short word the AI processes — reading, drafting, or analysing. AI Sales Max's 500,000 tokens cover around 3,000 conversations per month for most operators. Starter's 50,000 covers a couple of hundred conversations. If you ever hit the cap, top-up packs are available. Email us — we won't let your AI go silent mid-month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly billing, no contracts, cancel from inside the dashboard. We don't bury the cancel button or guilt-trip you. If the AI isn't earning back its cost, walk away.
Do you support businesses outside Malaysia?
Currently the AI is optimised for SEA tonality (Manglish, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin code-switch). It works for English-only operators globally, but the multilingual code-switching is tuned for Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia first. Other regions are on the roadmap.
